Slap that consultant who doesn't even knows what docs are required. What is he charging you for then? I didn't heard anybody in India adding a Police certificate for visa. No checklist from CHC asks for it. Beware of that consultant. I self applied and had no issues whatsoever. GS |

Every country has its own rules and regulations.
You may need
1. Affidavate for verification
2. Print and fill the two certificates of police clearrance (one is for your and other is for police record)
3. Photocopy of national identity card No.
4. Photocopy of Passport
5. Two passport size photes
The police clearrance certificate manily include

Resident place and address
District
Country
Verified by Station House Officer and Sub Division Police Officer
Your NIC No.:
Date of Issue:
Your Passport No.:
Date of Issue:
Thumb Impression ______________________
Piture
Sign and stamped by

Why don't you file yourself? In any case, most consultant charge only 5 k in New Delhi. If you haven't given him the money, I strongly recommend filing it urself. GS |

It is not required is EVERY country. For example, it is not required in Bangladesh and India. |

Well last year they DID ask for police clearance certificate but I didn't see any sign of it in the updated checklist. I don't mean to sound rude but I guess your consultant isn't guiding you well :\ |
