Hi Everybody,

Today we received our AOR from CIO.  It took less than 2 months to receive the response which is beyond my expectation. Now the next step is to file in the required certificates to the Canadian High comission in Delhi. I want to know what is the procedure of getting police clearance certificate in India.

is it easily received and what all is written on that certificate?
Is there anything specific which we need to ask the police personel to write in there

Please suggest......

Sumit39, you can get the police clearance in India from your Regional Passport office from where you got your passport. If they had the police clearance correctly when you got your passport, it is just a one day task. try your luck there!!
