Dear Folks.

I am Pakistani National has applied for Canadian Immigration under Doctors Cat. I have already received AOR. Now on my application i have my WIFE as NON- Accompanying Spouse She is USA Resident Green card. Now I have to submit all my original documents within 120 days. Here is the question i need help.

Does my wife who is NON-Accompanying Spouse on my application needs a POLICE Clearance certificate too? Will her city where she lives in USA local police certificate will do? or she has to go to FBI and submit her fingerprints and than wait for a response from them and then submit that certificate with my application?

If she is a non-accompanying spouse, she might not need it now. However whenever you will apply for her Immigration, you will have to submit the following documents

- Department of State Clearance Certificate (from the State)
- FBI Clearance certificate

However it would be on CHC's discretion whether they would require all of the above-mentioned or just one of it.

some are saying my wife needs clearance even she is non accompaning spouse some are saying otherwise. im confused.

- Department of State Clearance Certificate (from the State) (CHC will ask you later , if they needed otherwise not requiered)
- FBI Clearance certificate (Must have to submit).
