We are about to go get my wifes police check done.  When we printed off all the stuff we need.  We noticed there is a seperate sheet asking for finger prints.  Do we need this?

i think it is specific to different countries.. we didnt have to do it

Depends on the countries where you spouse has resided for more than 6 months.  See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
