Hello All,

If anyone has experience with getting a police check for a non-resideant (ie someone in the RF on a visa) done by the Russian police, I would love to hear from them, to learn from their experience.

There are instructions on the Canadian website, however my experience is that the reality of obtaining documents in the Russian Federation can be somewhat different.

Well you are in the right place =))
How long did you live in Russia? More than 6 months I assume ... The thing with the Russian police certificate is that you have to be there in person to get it, sound disappointing at first, but if you have friends living there you can use the all-Russian corruption in you favor (box of chocolates and you will have it no problem =)).
Plus it depends on the city you stayed in. Technically, you have to apply for the certificate in the city you lived, however if you lived in different cities, hmmmm well an extra box of chocolates is your answer =))

If you don't have friends there, well write back and we will think of something.

Cheers, Raccoon
