Police Certificate

Hi, i just submitted my application for Canadian immigration. I have a question regarding the Police Clearance Certificate process. I am in US since last 17 months & i have worked in Bangalore & Pune. Do i need to arrange for the Police certificate from all these states in India or a single certificate from Indian Consulate in US would be sufficient?

But what about for US..? In addition to FBI Clearance would the State PCCs be mandatory for USA for all applicants or is it something requested for only some cases...?

In that case i lived in 4 states for more than 6months......would i need PCCs from all 4 states in addition to FBI Clearance..?
