Law says, "If one has lived in a country for a period more than six months, he/she needs to provide the police certificate from that country". What if one does not disclose that he/she lived there? If there is no record of visas on his/her passport? Just wondering if it could be hided this way?

You have to write up your address and employment history for every month since you were 18.  That means you would have to lie about the months you were in this country.  If immigration decides to check up on that exact period of your life, they will find out.  This could also happen if you get PR, even if you get citizenship but somebody knows about this in your past, you have a fight with the person, they tell immigration that you lied on your application and your PR and then citizenship is then gone.  It would be better for you just to get the police record.
