We (spouse & me) got our finger prints taken at the local police dept in US. I would like to know what all documents I need to send to the FBI:
1. Certified Check for $36.
2. what about PC-1 ?
3. Is there a specific format for the Cover Letter?

Police Clearence Cert:
1. Do I have to get this from the local police dept as well?
2. I lived in two states in USA. Does this mean I have to get PCC from both the states ?

Please guide me. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi
Is it possible that I can submit police certificates at a later stage because it takes 16 weeks and my application is almost ready or should I wait for it ?

Thanks

As coolguy said, the instructions are here:  http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm

Send..
1. certified check for $36
2. 2 fingerprint forms
3. cover letter (both persons must sign the cover letter)

You can download the cover letter from the CJIS website.

PROVIDE A "DUE DATE" BOTH ON THE COVER LETTER AND ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR ENVELOPE.

Did you get a timeframe on when you are supoced to send your FBI Clearance to Canada???

Because I got a timeframe that's smaller than the 16-18 weeks requested and I'm scared it won't get there in time
