HI

I  forgot something

Can asking for Police clearance from the FBI and the two states while he is still in the USA compromise his illegal status... meaning could they find him and go after him ?

No, they only look for criminal records.

The FBI report is going to show his arrest while trying to cross the mexico/usa border. I was in the same situation.

I dont know why it says my inbox is full , maybe a glitch?

My application is in process . even do he didn't provide any ID or anything , they will pull out his record with the fingerprints. apparently being detained at the border its the same as being removed ( kind of derpotation ) it follows in the same class i think , he may need to file a criminal rehabilitation along with your application , I know he has not committed any crime , but in my case i was advised to file a criminal rehab along with application.  google for criminal rehabilitation so u can see whats needed to file it.

I was told that the charge was a immigration charge and not a criminal charge so I dont know at this point how immigration is going to see my case.

about power of attorney to a friend in mexico , it is posible , he will have to go to the Mexican consulate / embassy in your city and they will give you instructions on how to obtain the criminal check from mexico , ( CARTA DE ANTECEDENSTES NO PENALES )
