I am taking a 6 months course  on french. After mycompletion of my coures i will be provided with a certificate for french language. Will i be able to clam point on the certificate or i have to take some test for french like IELTS for English. If the there is some test for french then kindly name the Test.

You have to take TEF

I read the document but didn't see anywhere mentioning whether DELF Scores can be accepted as equivalent to TEF exam. Do you know if DELF scores will be evaluated or not?

That's because they only use TEF to evaluate your Franch knowledge... so that would be a no to your question... take the TEF.
