As per CIC, following is the extracted for points calculation:-

""Obtained a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship (other than university) and completed at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies""

In my case, I have completed B.Com (3 years) and also have completed 3 years Articleship under Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. I have completed Intermediate CA also has the certificate for same.

My question is can I claim 22 points considering above point.

Coolguy,

As per my openion you will not, as three year article ship wil be counted under " on job study" (paid job) , means in experience they will count.

For CA it is a three year course & for full fledged CA they will award you 22 points , as you are half fledged CA you may not get 22 but 20,
Let's hope you will get 22.

For yr info , I am also having the same but I have done M.com also so I am claiming full points...I will PM you my details pl. check & share yours....

Yes of course... always article ship/ apprecnticeship are paid, the word used for payment is "stipend",
You need not required to show any proof regarding this...as to become CA in canada the process is same like ours here in india....

I am considering the Articleship as Apprenticeship to claim 22 points. I am not considering CA as another degree.

Anway I am reaching the 67 points but I just want to clarify above CIC clause.
