hi,

asking this question on behalf of my friend mukesh who will register here shortly following my advice.

my friend needs to apply for fsw1 from australia, since he came here he closed all his accounts in india.

since hes doing degree here don't have any savings. all hes making paying to uni and accounts always in bad condition. 

hes got a plot in india on his name, is it possible to sell the same, put the money in fixed deposit and use it as a proof of funds.

can he show proof of sale if asked about the source of money.

Yes he may. As long as funds are his, and he can prove he owned the land, there is no problem

Yep if as a last resort, he could sell the land and place the returns in his account. As thebeast suggested c prove that the land is his
