Received additional docs request (IMM008 and IMM5406). i have just declared my daughter.
They cant issue my visa at the moment. they'll send me another passport request after her medical.

Thank you guys! Get together in manitoba is a good idea..  Im IN! Btw, I still need to stay here in UAE until July to complete my 4 yrs for gratuity purposes hehehe.. but will surely be in Manitoba before Christmas 2012.. Anyway, I need your help on the following: 1. Funds to bring - Is it in demand draft also? do i have to get it from home country or from here is ok? Ill be flying to canada from Philippines .. 2. Airline - do u have idea on the cheapest airline from Philippines to Vancouver (October or Nov flight) I already checked online, just want to know maybe you have other options. Goodluck on you AOR/MR/Visa |

Goodluck on you AOR/MR/Visa hi achico, as far as the funds are concerned, I think you have to declare it at the time of arrival and that is the best time to show all your assets as it will be tax free otherwise later once you get your PR, whatever is declared will be taxed. Aslo since you need the funds, best options is to take a bank draft with you, that is the safest. July is the bad time for travelling because its high season and ticket prices are sky rocketing this year. I checked from Dammam to Toronto return during July/August is about AED/SAR 7000 and if you take one way that is 80% of the full fair. If you find Turkish airway tickets, they are the lowest in that season. if you find a cheaper option please share it here so the people can benefit from it.. thanks |
