PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

btw, sset12, have you noticed that applications sent to ADVO received AOR after 3-5 months... so it's really a long way for us..

yes, I'm aware about that but I'm still hoping for the best and since our documents were already assessed and confirmed complete by CIO, in that way their processing time must have improved, right?

First of all i want to pay my thanks to all of you about your wishes, prayers and useful tips which keep my moral high.
some days before i was desperate because my medicals are going to expire on 21st March,2012 and there was no sign of PPR.
Sunday 4th March I received a phone call from abu dhabi VO that your visa is ready now you can send your passports and they send related requirements by e-mail.They asked only Passports,three photos per person and RPRF.I will be able to send on 8th,March.I have to enter in Canada before 21st March.Its a tough time where as we should resign from our jobs after receiving visa and all packing.............its a short time challenge.Allah is all time with us.

very well said... i just asked my friend few minutes ago that AD VO is the channel to communicate with us and London office is the one that will process our PR visa... so let us just wait for the AOR from AD VO... let's  relax and everything will be ok... cheers.

According to CIC-London's website, their average processing time for PNP is only 6 months, now the real concern is, did the ADVO send our files to London upon receipt from CIO? or how long it takes before they send it to London?. Based on my observation(from the trend of our forummates), it seems that they send it to London office by batch so even if they receive our file in January, it could be still sitting in their office waiting to complete the required number of application files for one batch prior to sending it to LVO  . So maybe it's one of the reasons of further delays, this is just my assumption and i hope it's not the case

Now, another concern is, when is the right time to follow up with them(ADVO) just to verify if they received our file or if they already processed it? This is just some questions lingering on my mind and i don't expect absolute answers but would really appreciate any comments or suggestions regarding this matter.

Hi I submitted my appli to ADVO on 22nd November 2011 (based on older system) and got the AOR on 15-02-2012. You are right it took almost 3 months to get AOR. But I read elsewhere in this thread that ADVO is only a bridge between the the applicant and CIC london is that right?

I would suggest to wait for sometime and from my experience; if you contact them it will for sure delay your porcessing.

hi immrox   , yes that's how I understand, ADVO is our channel for communication, CIC-London is the processing centre of PRV for applicants under Economic class.

btw, what is your category and stream? Goodluck to your application, I hope you will receive your MR soon!

I would suggest to wait for sometime and from my experience; if you contact them it will for sure delay your porcessing.
