Visa officer? do you mean Immigration Ontario or CIC ?

I don't know for sure, but an one point my employer asked me my file number for ON-PNP and that's likely that someone from Immigration Ontario wanted to double check.

Before you apply:

If you have the required work experience under skilled NOC class for one year, I recommend that you apply under CEC class which will save you the provincial nomination fee $1,500 and saves you 6-7 months processing times. Provincial route is longer and more expensive... although it offers some tangible benefit such as

- If you're pressed for time (work permit expiring in 7-12 months horizon), ON PNP nomination will provide you with LMO exemption when you extend your work permit. Although in reality, LMO is already relaxed for international student, a ON PNP is the surest guarantee that your work permit gets extended - hassle free way.

- If you're enrolled in some managerial training program which involves different departments / areas of the business, this makes it very hard for anyone to write detailed job description for each one and to provide NOC code for each one.

-English test is waived for PNP nominee.

-If you do not have one year work experience and want to apply for PR right away, ON PNP is your best bet

Decided on Ontario PNP route - TIPS.

- If you have not approached your employer, tell them at front that this is NOT a sponsorship program and cost them zero dollar. All they need to do is to get the position approved and you will take care of the rest.

- Position approval and many forms need to be signed by authorizing officer accompanied with barrister. If you work in a larger company, it is likely that they have legal department that can save you some money to get them sign.

- Anticipate what's needed! While your employer is getting the position approved, see what they need in the next stage: birth certificate? get them translated and notarized ... diploma? get your university transcript.... always think ahead and anticipate. After you nominate yourself, get the police certificate done (if you need one) ... etc

- I discovered this very late in the stage but ON PNP has a facebook page. Search for "OPPORTUNITIES ONTARIO" in Facebook ... there's someone that always answers every question if you got any.

Good luck

The form states, "If you are recruiting an individual, who currently lives abroad or visiting Ontario ..."

So if you are the aforementioned individual, the company needs to fill that section.

This form should be filled by someone in either HR / Legal / Signing officer instead of the nominee. They will know if the company is incorporated or not, if so they will know where to find the number, if not then you just need to put "N/A".

You should try to get them fill this form to avoid error / inaccuracies.

As Ethels said, this isn't the proper way to fill out Employer's Pre-screen Application. Your employer should have been more professional and filled it out for you.
