1. Birth certificate does not need to be notarized.

2. You must submit Canadian PCC (You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18). If your nomination certificate expires before ontaining PCC, it is best to write a letter to explain your situation to Buffalo and submit your application without Canadian PCC. It is also good to include the tracking receipt of Canadian PCC application to show that you are in process of obtaining your Canadian PCC.

3. You only have to pay Processing Fee when submitting your application to Buffalo. CIC will request Right of Permanent Resident Fee later in the process.

No one is writing reply to your message probably because these questions have been answered in other threads. If you have any question about preparing documents for Buffalo, there are useful threads such as http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/h1alberta-pnpnominations-nov09-and-laterpcc-fbicic-application-discussion-t30486.0.html.

Good Luck!

Hi there! I am just gathering my documents as well.
1. notarized birth certificate? - I am sending a certified translation with a copy of my birth certificate as mine isn't english or french.
2. police clearance Canada? - I have always heard that you don't need to hand in a Canadian police clearance as they can check the register themselves. I didnt do the Canadian police check and I am praying to god this is not going to jeopardize my application.
3. only 550 $ have to paid (application fee) now. The 490$ will be paid later and Buffalo is going to ask for it. Wait until they send you the request.

Good luck!!!!
