Starting this thread to analyse the time frame/wait period for the files transfered to Detroit. My file got transfered to Detroit in Jan 2011. Was asked additional documents in Feb 2011. All submitted in due time and still waiting to hear from them.........no news so far. Sad Sad Sad Sad

On my inquiry submitted to Detroit, today I got an communication stating " THE INSTRUCTIONS HAVE ALREADY BEEN COMMUNICATED TO MY ASSISTANT, WHO WILL FORWARD THEM WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO." I am extremely nervous and confused on the communication received....can anybody put light to it!!!!

What additional documents they asked for ?

In mine case they asked for some furtherance medical report for spouse and it is sent last 16th May. Any idea how much time it normally takes Ottawa to update the medical report. Keeping fingers crossed.

well buddy they asked me for my W-2 forms and current reference letter from my Employer . and its been over 2month to submit the same to the Detroit consulate .
Regarding your case I don't think so they will take more time to update your medical report . Its better if you ask for capies , because in capies you can easily see that your medical and other status up to date . There are few code you have to follow to read your result . Don't worry things will be fine ... keep hope man !!
