Hello Everyone! I am very new in this forum.
Though I have read and understood the informations on the website cic.gc.ca, i cannot find the answer to my concern that is: which is better ( and fastest way)- applying in the PNP or Federal Skilled Worker Category. I believe I have met both the criteria and have completed the documents already.

What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Please advise. Thank you..

I would advice you to do it with PNP. Lately imigration canada has increased quotas in PNP files. Benefits of PNP over federal skilled.

1. Work permit can be extended as long as you want if you have a PNP certificate without LMO or any other bull*censored word*.

2. PNP is quicker today, but same cannot be assumed from a year from now. But as I said you work permit get extended as long as you wish.

PNP is faster.. go for that..

I understand that upon lodging the application in Federal Skilled Worker Category, i must pay already the processing fee while in SINP, fees will be paid at the Embassy after you have been nominated by the province where you apply. Please enlighten me.

Next question is, I am a Physical Therapist and have seen in the NOC that there were only 14 applicants so far as of August 22, far beyond the 500 cap each year. Will it be an advantage for me applying as a PT under the Federal Skilled Worker or not?  I believe though, that I cannot take any licensure examinations and cannot practice as a PT unless I completed some units required by the alliance, which may also take 2 or more semesters. Should this will be the case, am eligible to have any other work?
