my queries
1. how is AOR recevied from CIO - snailmail or email ?
2. how long it takes to receive LOA in India once issued
3. does having relatives outside Winnipeg adversaly affects the case ? any idea?
4. can u confirm we actually do not need to submit educational or exper certificates to CIO....(i can't get rid of thought that we have to submit.inspite of other members suggesting we need not submit experience and educational documents to CIO)...pls guide
5. what is the best way to pay fee in the absence of Credit card


Hi maybe I could answer some of your questions similar to my experience...

I have relatives in Vancouver and Alberta, I listed all of them in my application..so far I got my LOA (for provincial nominee) and I also got my AOR. I guess it's not our fault to have relatives in other provinces. It depends on the interview of your sponsor, like in my case they were ask to give assurance that I will stay in the province I applied for, so your sponsor have to be credible. It's only the province that nominated you not the CIO have concerns on this coz the province that nominated you would not like to be use as a stepping stone.

You did not mention if your application is a provincial nominee? based on the new checklist as of January 19, 2012 they have simplified it, there is no need to submit educational or exper certificates.

For CC if your in the stage of waiting for the AOR you can easily check if it was encashed which is a good sign that your AOR is on it's way, unlike in a bank draft you have to check it in your bank from time to time..btw I paid thru bank draft.

As long as your credit card was charged, no need to worry. You cannot expect each application will follow exact timeline, or first come first serve. So, leave it alone, do not watch too closely. Relax, it is coming.

it was 30 jan and he got his AOR on 22st of feb....My creditcard is charged on 7th feb n I m waiting for AOR ....hope for the best....

i was nominated ds feb 2012 (PNP family category)and sending my docs to cic now.. i have a working permit support letter w/c mns i cn apply a work permit in manila embasy coz i have a permanent job offer in cnda.. is it gud to apply a work permit now or wait for my PR??? if i apply working permt ders a posiblity my aplication will be denied and my aplication in PR will be delay.. my job offer in canada is not related to my profesion so they might question me but my employer said its ok not to hve experience coz they provide me trainings.. wat should i do??? y is it we need to send our PR application to cic sydney not directly to our designated visa ofice??? im so confused.. pls help.. tnx (God is GOOD)

if i am not wrong...you will be given a open work permit as per your provincial certificiate...if i understood that correctly...its like your province which selected you is inviting you to come and search job while your PR is in process with a open work permit....so you might not need a employment letter also if you have this invitation from your Province...

Hello There,
I am in BC, with BCPNP and I applied for a work permit online, they issued one  just to work in the company that give me the offer. I don't know if this is different for other provinces, you have to read the instruction in the CIC page. And for the PR application you have to send the papers to CIC Sydney and then they will transfer to your Visa Office. I hope this can help you.

Please update the tracking list. I just received my AOR today from Nova Scotia. It says there that my demand draft was processed, February 16, 2012 and I have the AOR now with the UCI and application number. Thanks be to the One above.

looks like AINP applicants take the longest time to get check cashed and MNP/SINP shortest. how can it happen?

- work permit  and pr  are totally seperate process so  one isnt gonna get  delay becaus of other. yes once you get work permit and land in canada you have to inform cic regarding changes in your address etc
- now why we have to send pr application to cic sydney is something only immigration minister can tell you.  they make the law and we follow.
