thanks manu, i was shocked, actually after an hour i called the bank just to get confirmation if they debited it to my account coz i wasnt sure if the guy understand me when i said " yes,please do" ... i wasnt sure how our conversation ends coz i got excited...  i hope and pray that they will send some sort of confirmation thru email at the soonest coz this will make me sleepless until i have the confirmation... will keep you all posted.

Hi to all fellow applicants out there!!!

Were QSW and now preparing our federal application which is to be submitted to sydney, ns and was wondering if you could help out on our concern: do we need to have the copy of our passport certify that its a true copy of the original and about our work pass for staying in another country have certifies as well?? Any feeback is greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I sent a certified copy of all the documents.. Coz in the website it's mentioned all photocopies must be certified.. So just to be on the safe side I notarized all the copies .. Besides .. Getting them certified just adds value to it more and because they are certified they wouldn't reject it ..cheers

Quick question though, how did ur bank get to know about the debit ?? Did u give credit card info ?? Coz I took a demad draft in cad$ and the amount was taken out of my account the very day d demand draft was issued to me and the there is no way I can track it, please help.. Cheers

yes i made payment thru credit card, it is the main reason why i used my credit card coz they will call you once the transaction is made outside the country and they are asking permission to debit it to my account and make sure that you are aware of the transaction.. i am not sure how the demand draft works, i guess you can call your bank and ask them if the demand draft that you issued has been withdrawn already by the payee?

I sent off a draft for the fee payment so I went to the bank to find out if they could tell me if the draft was cashed. The teller informed me CIC cashed the draft  on the 4th of January so I guess that's very positive news. Hopefully you all get positive news soon.

     Wowow CONGRATULATIONS OldMiltonian!!! Now we can say that the "CIO system" works faster than that of the old one. A very good thing for all of us.

   By the way Oldmiltonian, we have the same mode of payment, so i think i have to communicate with my bank too.

hello team,

Omg!!!! i just got a call from my bank, they informed me that they will debit to my account an amount of $2,080 and confirmed that the transaction is made by Canadian Immigration Canada... does it mean that my documents are considered complete and they are already processing my PR visa application? i am crossing my fingers on it!!! i wish it will be reflected to my account statement tomorrow, i wish to receive an AOR anytime soon.
