i don't know when my draft was en-cashed as i made my draft by giving them cash money. They said they will charge me around thousand rupees to tell when it was en-cashed so i didn't bothered to ask.

ecas status is "application received" on 6th feb.

hi flowerbubu..,. i see that ur info was updated on the tracksheet.. anyways .. it doesnt make sense why the bank would charge you for inquiring the status of a draft you sent out .. hope everything is sorted out.. have you heard from the visa office yet ?? cheers

Have you heard from them yet?? if not I think you can contact the CIO since its been over 6 weeks since you sent your application and your bank has confirmed that the draft has been encashed, so you can definitely contact CIO and find out about the status of your application.. also please do check your junk or spam folder just in case if they have sent it and it has gone into it.. cheers

Hello all,

I just sent my file to Nova Scotia and thought I'd share my info. Congrats to all that have received updates!

Quebec Selected Skilled Worker (took over a year to get my certificate!!)
VO: Buffalo (live in the U.S.)
Application received in Nova Scotia: February 8th, 2012

I look forward to hearing back from more February applicants! this process has taken so long already

Dec/January applicants- When should I expect to hear back from CIO? I sent my application with FBI record (don't have it yet), should I wait until I get a file number to send it? or should I go ahead and mail to Nova Scotia as soon as I receive it? I also plan on sending payment for residency right at the same time and not wait for request...is that ok?

welcome to the thread ayinka.. your details have been updated by sset12.. from the trend .. it can take anywhere from 25 days to 45 days .. i dont think you should send the FBI record separately to nova scotia.. they might either request for it or you might have to send it your concerned visa office directly.. You should wait for the RPRF request or else you should have paid it along with application when you sent it to NS.. now you will have to wait till they request from the visa office, coz NS office only does a completion check to make things easier for visa offices and as soon as they are done with the completion check your application is sent to the concerned visa office.. so wait for them to request from you.. cheers

"Under provincial nominees  category does visa office ask for proof of funds required to stay in Canada before sending passport request ??"
Can anyone help

you dont need to show proof of funds at the federal level under the new system.. but after getting your visa and when you do the landing procedure .. you need to have the required funds with you in any form you like, but if you dont, the person at the immigration desk can create problems for you .. so ive read in other threads.. n worst cases.. some people have even been refused entry .. dunno to what extend that is true though .. just read it somewhere .. cheers

After 2 long weeks checking my email like crazy, we finally received today our AOR with medicals request for me and my family. Could you please update the spreadsheet, I will let you know when my medicals are done... Thanks a lot...cheers

I also had some problems with my documents, the refund the fee wich where charged in my credit card, but they didn't say anything... I think they are going to send me a letter like they did to you, but maybe it's gonna take a longer time to arrive...since I live in Brazil

I need your help ..I got my SINP on 14 Dec 2011 and CIO received my file 3 Jan 2012.
Today  27 Jan 2012 they return my file to me mentioning the reason that

Dear Sir/Madam

This refers to your application for permanent residence in canada under the Provincial Nominee Program.

A review of your application indicate you do not meet the requirement of thr instructions with respect to the completion of your application or,the requirement of R10 of the immigration and refugee Protection Act(IRPA) because:

*Please see the highlighted items on the enclosed check list or the enclosed Appendix.

Reulation (12) of IRPA states:

"If the requirement of sections 10 and 11 are not met,the application and all documents subitted in support of the application shall be returned to the applicant."

As yours application does not meet the requirement of R(10) of IRPA,it is incomplete and therefore being returned to you.Your application fee was not processed and is also being returned to you.Your application has not been received and no record has been retained.

if you submit an application ,please pay particular attention to all forms,information,documents,evidence,proof of language proficiency, and fees required as without these your application is incomplete and will be returned to you.



and in the Appendix-A

could you please quote as to what they have mentioned on you appendix A specifying the reason why your application was returned? Just so that people can be more careful in understanding what to expect and also things they need to be aware of ? cheers

a very pleasant morning... just received my AOR.. thank you God.. my application was received by CIO on jan 23, and yesterday, feb 16, AOR was sent to me. praise God! so fast...

Thanks for putting up your timelines! It has really helped in knowing what to exppect and when to expect it. Here is mine:

Stream: Ontario PNP
Application package successfully delivered to Sydney: 24th of Jan
Processing fee cashed: feb 16th.
Waiting for AOR.

Visa office is probably Buffalo.

hello to all members..!!!

im newbie.. happie  to read about the ppl who have applied under sask pnp.. im from india we applied in 21july 2011 though agent and application was received with 15days to the lawyer in canada. further to this few documents were asked from us in november related to my hubby employement side which were also send on 18nov2011. after that we heard from our agent dat our file has been picked up for review tilll now we havnt recieved anything .... ya we are worried.. pls help as we were informed before applying dat the total prcessing time for sinp pnp process is 13months to 14monthsa..(pls someone put some light on the processing time issue.)

as per the agent we were suppose to receive our nomination in jan but according to him(agent) changes in rules which led to increase in time of processing applications for the nomination and he (agent) asked us dat nomination will be received by march or april now...

welcome to the forum and this thread.. from what I understand for SINP it can take anywhere from 6 months to 12 months to get nomination and this thread is actually for people who have sent their complete application to CIO, so I doubt if anyone here could be of much help in terms of that, I had applied for MPNP, so dont really know about SINP either .. id recommend you to start a new thread, and there would be someone out there who can help you .. and honestly .. dont know how things work using an agent, coz most of us here have applied directly as well.. havent really used an agent as such ... cheers ..
