not sure, never heard before that they rejected applications, the usual problems i have read is the long delays from the VO due to additional docs request and some medical problems where the applicant must complete some medication procedure or pregnant applicants must give birth prior to issuance of their visa. yes..yes..yes.. hoping to get a feedback the soonest... have you encountered in this forum discussing about rejected applications fron CIC eventhough nominated already by a province.... huh hope no one is rejected. God bless to all of us.

yes..yes..yes.. hoping to get a feedback the soonest... have you encountered in this forum discussing about rejected applications fron CIC eventhough nominated already by a province.... huh hope no one is rejected. God bless to all of us.
hi adg256, I have only come across 3 rejections.. out of which .. 2 were fsw.. n there job responsibilities did not match d noc .. and one person got rejected under pnp .. because he had relatives in toronto and the immigration officer was not confirmed that the person would reside in the province he applied for.. those are the main reasons why anyone could be rejected i suppose (ie .. after getting nomination).. cheers |

Hi guys,
I was just going through the cic website and it states that one of the criteria for contacting CIO is that the application sent needs to be beyond 6 weeks.. Which implies that they would communicate with us within 6 weeks .. Well .. Thats just my understanding .. Anyways let's see how it goes and if we don't hear from them in 6 weeks we can contact them via email..
P.s oldmiltonian .. U r the first person to send the application .. So if u do not here from them in the next two weeks please do email them and share us your information... Cheers

help pls... regarding the photo specifications for PR visa application.. cannot access the one mentioned in the new CIC checklist... 35x45 cm2, chin to crown 25-30 cm. 1) http://www.epassportphoto.com/2) select austrlia to give 35x45cm2 3)upload photo 4)finalize measurment with that green box 5) click "no thanks" 6)download 7) go to target to print out and remeasure the size to make sure ok. cheers |

Hi Guys,
I thought I would start this new thread here for everyone who has submitted their PNP applications to CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia in the month of December and January. Since this is a whole new procedure, I am assuming no one really knows what to expect or the timeline in receiving the AOR and everything. So, it would be great if all those who have submitted their documents under PNP to Sydney, NS to pool in your thoughts and timeline into this thread. Looking forward to hearing from all you peeps soon.

And there it says contact them if the application was sent not earlier than 6 weeks .. From which I understand that CIO does what they have to do in 6 weeks or less .. Jus an assumption .. Cheers |

Omg!!!! i just got a call from my bank, they informed me that they will debit to my account an amount of $2,080 and confirmed that the transaction is made by Canadian Immigration Canada... does it mean that my documents are considered complete and they are already processing my PR visa application? i am crossing my fingers on it!!! i wish it will be reflected to my account statement tomorrow, i wish to receive an AOR anytime soon. Goodluck and God bless us all!!!

Hi sset12, Thats absolutely awesome .. Really happy for you.. I am sure it means they have done a quality check and made sure all the documents are correctly submitted .. Hi sset12, Quick question though, how did ur bank get to know about the debit ?? Did u give credit card info ?? Coz I took a demad draft in cad$ and the amount was taken out of my account the very day d demand draft was issued to me and the there is no way I can track it, please help.. Cheers |
