Hello, I am an International Student currently worried about my future in Canada...
I have done 1 year post Secondary certificate program from Ontario.
I want to work in a Province where it is possible to get Provincial PR and extend my Work permit on 1 year POST GRADUATION WORK PERMIT.
Any helps and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

I also recvd email from hong kong visa office on 24.5.2012 for mr, rprf, passport,photos. I thing we r on same processing. They start pocessng my file on 22 may2012. My ecas shows in process nd my address shows on it. So plz if u get any update share vid me. Dis gives benifir to both of us..

Yup it changes to in process and the inside it would have 2 lines
First one would say we received your application on xx/xx
Next line would say we started processing your application on xx/xx

If you have done your study from ontario and if you find an employer you can apply in OPNP but this process will take atleast 6 months provincial time. But for your work permit you can appy it from anywhere and get PG workpermit. Since time i.e 1 yr is a less time for PNP application look into other province as well to get PR early. |

Hi everyone,
I see lots of comments about addresses showing up on ecas.
I moved about 6 weeks ago, so I updated my address with CIC online. While updating it, I noticed there was no previous address on file for me. Few days after I did this, my address showed up on ecas and it's still there. My guess is now they have put in everyone's address on ecas? Does this shed any light?
Hi , Is there a link to update address online? or did you send an email to them?. Even my address shows up in ECAS now. Thanks |

There is a link near your ecas address "contact us" use that link to intimate them about correction of your address. i'm not so sure if that works for everybody. Hi ,
Is there a link to update address online? or did you send an email to them?. Even my address shows up in ECAS now.

Or we really have to send in our passport? I was thinking of going to the VO and land on my way back instead of waiting for three weeks or more for my passport to come back...
