I hope so... you, me, pari, and bkd1969 all received our AORs on the same date...
Ya after reading bkd1969 status changed I checked mine but nothing. Well it happens when you least expect it...so it should be coming. I checked with my dr and my blood test came late, they gave me tracking # and it reached ottawa on 29th May. So may be mine will be later. |

wow, this morning nothing changes in my ecas. now, i just rechecked, my mailing address showed up! wow, they really worked in the weekend for me!!!
Yeah mine address updated too today...What does that mean that our files are in process?really excited to hear PPR from them. Thanks.....god bless all  |

Hi guys.... Not active for long time....in my home country for past month or so...just reAd all the posts...congrats to all who got their ppr... Karlz is leading our sheet good luck mate  I stopped by to check my Ecas and found my address appearing fr first time...not sure when it came but I had sent a case specific enquiry to buffalo 3 weeks back and tey replied saying my file is in Ottawa..so sent another to Ottawa but no reply...anything to do with address appearing in Ecas? But status is still application received... Good luck everyone !!!! |

Once they have finished that particular task for which the file has been pulled out its then sent back to the storage area and the address comes back. Its probably because they don't want applicants to change address while they are working on that particular file which complicates things for both the applicant and CIC. It cannot be a bug in the system otherwise it would have affected the whole system not some particular applicants. My address disappeared last month and then came back in the last week of July. Then it disappeared again on 2 Aug and I received PPR on the 3 Aug. I think when they pull out a whole batch of applications from the storage area the address of all the applicants in that batch disappears as we have noticed so many applicants report address missing on the same date. It would be interesting to know if somebody recently got some document request or PPR and his/her address never disappeared. If that's the case then my theory is completely wrong. Fromm SINPguy |
