I made a mistake for my payment to CIO nova scotia,Jan 26 2012 i sent a managers check still payable to canadian embassy - manila in peso account of 23,650 instead of canadian dollars and payable to The Receiver General of Canada" What should I do its 3 1/2 months that i didnt hear anything from them no email or letter if they returned my docs or change my mode of payment no advices from cic office,.im confusing what the status of my application pack if they received it or not.How to call them ,they give an update by calls? jan 26,2012 I sent to cio my pack .No AOR yet!!!! I verified to the bank that my check still outstanding . But It was tracked to DHL canada that my pack was received last Feb 2,2011 by CIO . please help what should i do .I sent emails but after 20 bussiness days pa reply nla huh,, |

i think NDVO donot process files first come first serve because i recvd my AOR on 27 march and this new friend rec AOR on 26 but he sent it in dec and i sentmy file in feb..

How long does it take to get Medical & THE WHOLE PROCESS TIL VISA ISSUED?

Hi Arise, Is you email from your visa office NDVO or from CIO? I'm just wondering if submitted the PCC you did not submit before or they didn't ask for it? Hi Manu,
Got an email today that i need to provide them some more information as they figure out some gaps in the Background decleartion especially in the section of personal histroy and addresss..they said to provide them the missing data withine one month so that they can proceed with the processing of my application. Though it is not good news but itleast it appears that they are working on my application which is good.
Good luck for all of us and congrats for you with the passport progress to NDVO.

Hi Candidgirl, The email is from CIO. In fact, my VO is not specified yet. In the CIO-AOR it was mentioned that your application will be forwarded to an approporiate visa office. So I am still on hold to hear from VO. Cheers, Arise |

As you have said, at least this is a positive thing about your application being processed. Just go ahead and comply with whatever they require.  Hi Candidgirl,

Hi Annier, I've read this advice from a forum member and I guess it can apply to you: Call this number 613-944-4000, choose "immigration" option, then choose talking to agent option. You at least have following information if you call them: 1) application fee cashed or not, 2) where is your application, 3) your EP XXXX XXXX number (NOT UIC), and you can use EP number to check your status online.

Medical results have been received. Hopefully PPR will be next!! Does the passport has to be valid for 1 year for PPR. My passport expires in June 2013.

hey aonedoc.. im not really sure about that.. I know that your medicals are valid for 12 months from the date u did your medicals.. so depending on when you get ur PP with visa you would have the remaining months to enter Canada.. also, usually for any visa issuance they usually require the passport to be valid for 6 months and at least one blank page, those were the requirements when I sent my passports for getting a student visa in Australia and New Zealand.. so I am assuming that should be fine and in your case since you have till june 2013 it shudnt be a problem. Besides you had sent a copy of the passport when u sent the application right? and now that its in process, if they required you to renew your passports they would have already asked for it by now .. cheers .. |
