is it possible that the online status is "in process" even before "medical received"?
I thought we did have one such case in the forum 'Fafool'. Look up the excel sheet. Fafool - could you please clarify? also if you heard back anything yet? I really want to understand how long does it stay in the 'in process' status. JonMonc |

I saw some folks here paid their application fees and RPRF by credit cards when they submitted their applications to Sydney.
Yes, but that is with the original application to Sydney only (I paid via credit card as well for original fee). If you didn't include your RPRF when you sent your packet to Sydney, you must send it to the VO assigned to you (check your AOR) and their rules on payment by credit cards vary. In my case, my VO is in the US and no canadian visa office in the US accepts payment by credit cards. Check your respective VO's website for payment option. |

Hi JonMonc; I think our cases are quite the same. Mine went to In Process sooner than receiving the medical. Now the statement of medical received is under the statement of the process started. There is no other changes yet. I am still waiting like others. I found out that they usually update the status of the applications once a month. I am not sure about this, but I think they make changes usually in the middle of each month. So, I think we should not expect daily changes in the status. Also, for my case as an example, they announced that they started the process on 27th of March, but I saw this in my ECAS status on April 17. So, maybe your cases all are in process but they may show this in ECAS by the middle of the month. I will let you know if anything happens. Cheers; Fafool |

Just review the tracksheet it should be 2-3 weeks only some are 4 weeks.

Most of us got AOR-CIO within 7 days, but still waiting for AOR-VO and Medical Request.
I can see that Bahia and Axelblackmar, are still waiting on their AOR-CIO!! (please check ur email junk folder. you never know!!)
My status in E-cas shows application received on Mar 30th.
Any clue when we will get to the next steps?
Please share your thoughts.
