received AOR from visa office in Manila, Philippines... also the request payment for RPRF... but before that i received a call from the embassy confirming my date of birth and e-mail address.. then told me to wait for my AOR after 30 mins.  just checked my email and there it was........ thank u Lord... God bless us all... Hi Ariza congratulations ! More blessings for you...did they call you through cellphone? Thanks in advance for the info...still hoping for my AOR-VO CEM. Cheers... |

Thanks dear, for your words.
But unfortunately I am not aware of any PNP under Ontario that I can apply, its only Manitoba. Let me know if you are aware of any family based PNP in Ontario.
Also, I am pissed off because the rationale that I would not make Manitoba my home because I have ties to my brother (with 1 year PR) than my close uncle (with 14 years Citizen) is so so stupid.
Appreciate if you all can give your suggestions on whether I should
a) Appeal to reverse the decision in next few days or
b) reapply under family stream after 6 months or
c) apply under general stream (I do qualify on point system in Manitoba as well, but I dont know how long would that take).
I need everybody's help out there and your suggestions, please, so that I can meet you all in MANITOBA
Thanks,Id recommend you appeal.. as I am not aware of Ontario PNP, but you might want to check out their website and see if there is any available.. applying under general stream would also be good though.... but I honestly dont know how they work, so cant really comment on that one either.. Good to see the tracksheet fill up since we started. We have come a long way in the past two months. Looking at the track sheet at the moment, it looks like a race between the VOs. I can't wait to see who crosses the line first.
Looks like CPP-O is ahead of the game at the moment with quick fire MR/AOR, but one could expect NDVO to race ahead of CPP-O, eventually. It would be interesting to see. The best part is, eventually everyone wins!

Buffalo is slow. No response since being transferred. So sad.
It's only been 6 weeks since CPP-O recd your MR. As per the old (Buffalo) process it typically took 8 months for this step to complete (i.e. for them to issue PPR). In this new process only you and Prasamp are leading the pack, it's only after either one of you receive the PPR request, we would be able to gauge new timeframes for this new process. I just hope it's not 8 months like before. |

exactly..we are not even sure of how the timeliness will differ...even for last year when Buffalo was sending AOR and MR some cases are finalised within 7months.so we can be optimistic and keep doing permutations to see the timelines...but as said all of us going to cross the line..hopefully by 2012. QBCool unfortunately myself and a52411940 are 2nd in line ... see the sheet you will have KarlZ whose status in ecas is already in Process (Buffalo VO) lets c all of us should get through by 2012...hopefully. |

My doctor sent the medicals feb 28, but he asked me for an additional test. I was in the doctor yesterday and the good thing I am OK. Now he is going to send the results to CIC, hopefully they are not going to ask for another test, and my status will change to medical received (we are the next in the tracksheet in medicals time) Let's see what is going to happen, it have been a long month for me. Cheers Yes I see that e-cas change for KarlZ, but I also see that his MR hasn't yet been received by VO, so I am a bit confused. I had my medicals done on 15th of march. I was told by the doctor's office it was mailed to Ottawa the next day, I don't have a tracking number though. Still waiting for an update on ecas.
Correction to my timeline on the tracksheet..."ecas application received" was on Feb 28th. same day i got my aor/mr from cpp-o.
