I received my medical request n March 14 then I had my medicals done the day after. Can someone please update the tracksheet. Thank you Smiley

Here are some tips:

1.) Medical fees varies from one clinic to another. I paid around $300 (Doctor's fee ($180), xray ($50), lab ($40)), but some clinics charge as high as $400. so scout around for cheaper DMP's.

2.) NOT ALL DMP's will have all the facilities in just one building. Yesterday, I had to see the doctor, drive to a different location for my xray and then drive to another different location for my lab tests. Its best if you can find a DMP that has xrays and lab in just one building, saves you all the hassle.

Did you get medical request by mail or email?

Hi Guys,

I had my Medical exam done yesterday and I think in a week or two the ecas status should be updated to Medical received etc. I haven't yet paid my 'Right of Permanent Resident Fee'. Would the Visa Office send me a mail about it? or do I have send it out on my own? Will that save processing time?
May be I am getting impatient in not knowing how long the wait is gonna be Smiley

JonMonc

Hi JonMonk,

Well if u havent received the RPRF or PPR along with ur medicals, i will advise u to wait for it. u will be getting it altogether.

I got my AOR and MR this morning 3/16  Cheesy . Please update the spreadsheet.

See below, email instructs me to send all correspondance to Buffalo though the Ottawa office sent it. Where is my file in actuality? in Ottawa or Buffalo? I'd like to send my FBI report as well as RPRF ASAP but I'm afraid to send the report in Buf if file is actually in Ottawa...don't want anything to get lost as I don't have any other original copies. Help...what are your thougths?

This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received and that a file has been created for the Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo. The RPC will be processing your files.  Therefore all correspondence and enquiries must be sent to the RPC.   Your new application and paper file numbers appear above.  Quote these numbers when corresponding with the RPC.

Congraz! Cool

Congrats Jonmonc!! I did my medicals on feb, 22 and no changes in the e-case yet. I am worried about because others have been change in 2 weeks. I hope when it change, they will start processing our application. Any clue...
Thanks

Confirm with the clinic if he sent the report back or does he need you to do any re-tests etc.
Also some places are generally slow. The clinic I went to they mail out all the results only on thursdays even if the results are in a week ago. And the ecas website is apparently only updated on tuesdays. Perhaps your case update is just in between. I would recommend  you to wait until tuesday next week.

the candian sized photo is too big.
mine was 3.5*4.5. neutral expression. white background.
you would need 4 when doing your medicals. but ask the clinic to make sure because some clinics require less than 4 copies Smiley

what does RPRF/PPR mean?

RPRF: Right to Permanent Residency Fee. Its currently 490CDN per person. This payment has to be made before your passport can be stamped and is inaddition to yur processing fee ( 550CDN for the PNP program)
PPR: PassPort Request. After medical is done and decision is made, I believe you need to send your passport for the visa stamping etc. From what I understand, it might take a while after your medical results are received.

How does it work with the medical results?

my doctor said that it would be forwarded to Ottawa. What would happen once they receive it in Ottawa? would they be sending it to Manila (my visa office). this might delay my application.
