I haven't heard anything from cio since i submitted my docs last jan 25,2012... i always call my bank and nothing was debited to my credit card.. so worried.. will i expect a return documents? it's my 36 days today ..

Keep the faith claudine, maybe the officer handling your file is just slow or on vacation .
Let's pray that your AOR will be out soon, it could be just delayed for some reasons, think positive!

How r u? I need ur help, I applied since 19 Jan 2012 at Sydney but not heard anything from them n my creditcard was also charged on 7th feb but still waiting for AOR... Do u know wr I can do inquiry? Any number or email id? Do u think I need to ask them now? Bcoz one of my frnd send his file on 29th of Jan n he got his AOR. Pls help guys I m so worried..

Heyya superhero .. sorry for the late reply.. was really tied up with things.. first off .. dont worry .. if you look at the tracksheet.. you can find there are variations in terms of getting AOR, some people get it really really fast, and there are some who havent got their AOR yet, I got mine in 25 days, but there is a person Michael.. he still hasnt got his AOR and he applied on DEc 29 '11.. just be patient .. im sure you will hear from them very soon.. have a good one mate and try not to stress.. cheers

Hi there...just wanted to give you quick clarification. You can send in your application without all of the PCC with an explanation of the missing documents but you MUST be able to provide when asked...and they will ask for them so make sure you get the ball rolling on requesting them because all it will do is delay your processing and they will probably give you a timeframe to provide docs so make sure you request them way ahead of time (now). Hope this helps...

Please update the tracking list. I just received my AOR today from Nova Scotia. It says there that my demand draft was processed, February 16, 2012 and I have the AOR now with the UCI and application number. Thanks be to the One above.

my queries
1. how is AOR recevied from CIO - snailmail or email ?

we get it via email..

2. how long it takes to receive LOA in India once issued

do you mean LOA from the Province? if so it can take anytime between 6 to 8 months from initial application, if you mean AOR from CIO, it takes anytime between 3 weeks to 8 weeks and in some cases even more .. have a look at the tracksheet to get an idea of the general trend

3. does having relatives outside Winnipeg adversaly affects the case ? any idea?

id recommend that you probably not mention anything about have relatives outside of winnipeg, as there could be possibilities that they might reject your case because they would mention strong ties with other province and you might not even be able to appeal in some cases

4. can u confirm we actually do not need to submit educational or exper certificates to CIO....(i can't get rid of thought that we have to submit.inspite of other members suggesting we need not submit experience and educational documents to CIO)...pls guide

we need to submit the documents only as per the checklist and if you are submitting your documents only now, then you should follow the latest checklist

5. what is the best way to pay fee in the absence of Credit card

sending a draft in canadian dollars would be the best option, that way you can contact the bank and find out the status of the draft, whether its been encashed or not .. you wont be able to track money orders..
