I am surprised why did they transfer your application to HONG KONG? are you currently in canada or india?
I am in India....look like processing will be done from Hong Kong and Visas will be issued from New Delhi. This is what I got in e mail... Dear Sir/Madam, This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi . In keeping with Citizenship and Immigration's mandate to process applications as efficiently as possible, your application has been transferred to the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong for processing. You will receive, or you may already have received, instructions from the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong regarding the next steps in processing your application. Please follow all instructions carefully and completely, particularly with respect to where any required submissions should be sent. Should your application be approved, visas will be issued at the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi. You will not be required to send your passport(s) outside of India. |

No change in E cas it shows Application received on 17 Feb 2012. I think NDVO might have transferred bunch of files but I came to know early as I sent an e mail to correct some my info. |

Hello Karlzw Congratulations!!!!! I am wondering if you are living in Quebec? Is it really important to live in Quebec if you are nominated through 'em? I mean I live in Alberta and have never been to Quebec at all and my medical exam is already done. Just a little worried here.  Thanks Thanks. I am living in quebec but i dont think it matters wether you live here or not what matters is that you intend to settle in quebec. If you got to the medical part then it usually means that your file is complete and no problems have been spotted. Just relax and hopefully you'll get your PR soon. If anyone has questions they want to ask me please pm me so it is easier for me to spot them and if they contain no personal info I will post them on the main thread so everybody can have access to the answer. I know it is 30 months and for NDVO it is 10 months.....but they mentioned that my file is transferred for efficient processing so may be for better or they have increased capacity in Hong Kong or Hong Kong staff is seeking some work ....I do not know |

I am told that my results were all good and sent to Ottawa on May 18/2012.

Yes that's the best thing we can do is to wait patiently and be positive. Well by the way i am very happy for you, you do deserve to get the visa first since you started this amazing thread. I feel you should have your passport back in next 3 weeks time. Have you blocked your flight seat already? which airline are you planning to fly? thanks canman.. but I honestly think its time everyone started getting some good news regardless of whether I started this thread.. everyone deserves some good news here.. this is one thread I have found with no crazy people but a lot with good hearts.. .. I hope they dont take too long to give the passports back .. coz I was hoping to get PPR after mid june, wasnt expecting it this early.. coz I have to go to singapore for a client meeting on the 11th and 12th for work.. also .. as of now .. im planning to do a multi stop travel when I go .. n ill be going to Canada mostly by end of july.. planning to go to Dubai first for a couple of days.. to spend some time with my bro .. and then hopefully a couple of days in london as well, need to catch up with some friends.. since im planning on a multi stop .. im looking at booking via emirates.. also .. I get upgrade with the miles.. .. anyways .. hoping for the best.. cheers.. |
