I have a question guys,
I have forget to tick in the box for the Background declaration form in the question have you applied or refused for application for visa in Canada or any other country, what is going to happen now I applied for visa to Canada in 2011 and got refused.
and I did not mention it.
What I have to do any ideas guys may be someone had such experience in the past?

ooh .. ok .. maybe that was not the best move from your part, because from what Ive read on certain articles, it says, there is a global database that the CIC has of rejected applications... but having rejected once does not mean that they would reject again, but if you dont specify about previous applications, then it could be a problem, anyways im not a visa officer, so I guess I cannot comment further regarding this.. but anyways now that you have sent your documents across, all you can do is wait and see, keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.. good luck mate.. i hope things work out well for ya .. cheers |

Hi,
I waited a lot to be a part of this group and I have religiously seen everybody's wait stories in the spreadsheet prepared; but unfortunately now I can't be a part of this spreadsheet.
Reason:- today I got my rejection letter from MB, saying i have stronger ties to Ontario than Manitoba. My brother is a resident of Ontario for around 2 years and my maternal uncle (Sponsor) is citizen of Canada for past many many years; currently living in Manitoba for past few years.
I am so so disappointed. 
I wish all of you a great success and a great life awaiting you all in Canada.
ak_indiHiyya mate, I am really sorry to hear that, I really do wish there was something I could say here to make you feel better, but like what QBcool has mentioned, try applying under Ontario PNP now that your brother is living there.. that way you might be able to get some good response.. keep ur chin up .. n dont worry .. its not the end of the world.. im sure u can re apply and get thru the next time.. cheers  |

hi arise,I sent my documents to CIO thru FedEx, hence I was able to track it online and it shows there the date and time it was received at CIO... consequently I also received AOR (acknowledgment of receipt) from CIO,NS that they have received my application, debited the processing fee and confirmed that my documents were complete. HTH

Hi arise, One way of tracking it is through the courier company you sent it through, then within 6 weeks, they will send you an email confirming receipt of your application at CIO and also the date the money was encashed with financial receipts.. you also get a file number and UCI from CIO.. if your application is complete they will send you an email confirming that, else they will return your entire application.. there has been two people on the list who got their entire application sent back.. so please be careful and double check twice or trice to make sure all the documents that you sent are as per the document checklist.. cheers |
