u have mentioned in other thread that "I got an email from NDVO saying that if I dont hear from them in 3 months, I can contact them about the status of my application, its only been 6 weeks for me, so I am waiting for it to be 3 months to contact them"
Don't u think we should count the day from when they say "Application Received" on Ecas status which in your case is 6th Jan 2012?

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.
Applicant gets a generel notification/information from the Visa office / Application processing centre if application is transferred to other Visa office. Howevr if applicant does not hear from the Visa office within 03 months must send out e-mail / fax request for file status by providing Complete name as on passport, Correct date of birth, Passport number and contact details.
