Both of you got medical request already? in email? what forms inside? any time due date you must done your medical exam? pls share with us.
this is what in the instructions PDF i received... You should make arrangements to undergo the required medical examination immediately. Failure to do so within 60 days of this notice will result in unnecessary delays in the processing of your application. hth prasamp |

Sorry for having confused you but I just received AOR on Jan-31 and my VO is Tokyo (supposedly...we'll see)
I have NOT received medical request yet!
well, you wrote: "just send it." Anyway, it is coming. It is my understanding that: do not do any medical tests before you receive med request with detailed instruction. but I do think it is time for folks this forum to do research what tests are included in the medical exams, how to improve health to pass the exam easily? more veg? more exercise? so on....... please share your tips. nice weekend. |

Oh I meant "once I receive MR, I can get it done in Canada and send it to whereever the office is"  Yes, I won't send it till I get the request, thank you for the info!  Well I think you can pass medical check unless you have some severe conditions such as cancer/HIV. |

Yes... i got both at the same time. for your question on why others didnt get the medicals...i m guessing "Since my VO is Buffalo and i received communication from Ottawa Pilot immgration, they sent on behalf of Buffalo and the medical intake office for my VO is Ottawa so i guess they are authorized to send Medical request along with AOR" If your application process is outside NA your respective regional intake office has to receive your records so that would be an reason" Another reason also possible, since other fellow (ak25...i guess) and myself are going through Quebec province, the procesing is completely shorter in Federal....as i mentioned earlier we give all our certified copies of dgree, work exp etc during our interview for Quebec selection itself..so that reduces the federal procesing of Lanugage proficiency, work validity etc...they just do security and medical assessment... both the above are my understandings...not for sure though.... hth prasamp |

the medical test includes Chest X-Ray, Blood test - for HIV and other STD , general checkup by doctor, eye sight, urine samples for any diseases...you dont need to worry on gymming or food habits... hth prasamp |

I am sorry reply you so later. I received the email from CIO on 26 Jan,2012,and got the new fn,UCI no. Now just waiting the email from my visa office. But one misstake on my husband`s name,i sent email to CIO and asked them to correct it,but still has not received any information from them. |
