Hi Everyone!  My partner is Australian and i am american.  Currently she is working in Vancouver on a working Holiday Visa and does have employment.  I am working remotely for my company in California and just visiting Vancouver on a 6 month visitors record while keeping my employment and salary in the US.

2 quick questions that im hoping you can help us with as we assess our ability to qualify for the PNP:

1.  The forms for the sponsoring company to fill out all seem to be based on prospective hiring vs already having her as an employee which is what the case is for my partner.  So, is it fine that she is applying while already here working on a working holiday visa to stay working for her employer?

2.  I understand if she completed this process successfully she could add me as her spouse and we'd be fine.  However, if we wanted to both launch our own applications and list eachother as spouses then it may be better odds.  My question is since I am not seeking employment in Canada can i qualify at all for the PNP?  If not, does anyone have a suggestion for what route i should take if i want to come to Canada and not have a canadian work sponsor but can prove income from the US?

We really arppreciate any guidance you can offer.

Thank you
