If you applied for PR while residing in Canada then i think you are under " Application for Permanent Residence in Canada " |

If your file outside canada....then you check Outside canada (mine file Delhi India......)...hope that helps. |

Average Processing time in CHC - New Delhi for PNP jumped to 10 months
About five months back it was 5 months.

GIve IELTS even if not asked - you don't need 6.5 or 7 bands, some fair score is enough
Keep your IELTS score ready, You never know, they could ask to provide IELTS score later.

If your file outside canada....then you check Outside canada (mine file Delhi India......)...hope that helps.
well..certainly it is supposed to b under outside canada....but my status shows first step in floow chart mentioned in (Application for Permanent Residence - Federal skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia) ,which is APPLICATION RECEIVED ...i applied in jan under mpnp to nova scotia...but its not federal skilled worker category... |

Hey Bro, No, it won't effect your case as that expiry date is meant for forwarding your application to Federal CIC after getting your nomination. So all is well ! OBSERVATION- Might be useful for fellow friends who are applying from Abroad in CHC-NEW DELHI - WHAT TO DO IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE CORRESPONDENCE BY emailConsidering CHC-New Delhi sends its letter through regular post which eventually leads to delay in case as it is received 3-4 weeks after being dispatched from India. What i have observed that after getting the first letter through post, if an applicant sends them a Case Specific Enquiry ( https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new delhi ) AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT email received, there is a statement in email as follows: Disclaimer: By supplying your email address, you are initiating an email communication with CIC and thereby authorizing CIC to use your email address for communication with you, including the transmission of personal information on your file.So by doing this you are opening the email channel for yourself. No doubt on the application form we do mention our email but even then CHC-New Delhi sends docs by Post, based on my personal experience i am suggesting this. GST8486

Request for medical ,passport submission and permanent residence fee submission received altogether on 21-dec-2011 via e-mail.

I submitted my passport on 1-Jan-2012 and i checked through courier service and it was received on 3-Jan-2012.
Till now i can see two status on e-cas.
