PNP Application and PR

Hi there!

I've submitted my PNP application over 2wks now and my employer is helping me with this application. My concern is that my current Work Holiday visa expires in mid November. I'm wondering if I should apply for a visa extension in the meantime and if this is possible how I can go about doing this? If this isn't possible, is there an alternative?

Also, if my PNP comes through am I automatically entitled to stay and work or is there a time between approval of this and submitting my PR, whereby I will not have a permit if I'm not on a visa extension?

Sorry final query, if my PR is processing, can I leave the country for a holiday during this time?

Will be unbelievable grateful for any advice you can provide.
