@   kumoj, the received date is not d date u sent ur applicatn it's d date that ur applicatn pkg was signed for by a staff of CHC. The implicatn of this is dat ur file is yet to b assignd to an officer. It's until it changes to In-process that u knw ur file has bn assignd & dat u are now in a reviewing queue

Hello Egrace,

Thanks for the comments. The implication of this is that my file has not been assigned to any Officer yet. The waiting continues.
It is well by God Grace for us all. I am definitely sure that by this time next year  by God Grace we would have settled down fully in
our  different abode in Canada. So lets start rejoicing and celebrating God in advance.

Cheers and nice weekend to all.

lol, yeah, silly me for not updating you guys right away. anyway, i didnt get any e-mail. i just received the package through mail on a friday and i called the designated clinic right away and we scheduled my medical test for the following monday. the test didnt take long at all and the clinic was very well organized. after doing the test at the clinic the doctor directed me to another place not far away for my x-ray. and na just 80 naira okada i take reach there and that one didnt take long also to get the x-ray done, and i was through for the day. all in all i think i spent like an hour to get everything done at both clinics. maybe it was because i went early though, because i was the first person that day and then people started coming for the same cana medicals.

kumoj, and they might ask do to the same thing when they have started processing your application, so it is advisable you keep photo-copies of all previous documents submitted earlier and you know how to get new copies. although they have not asked a friend of mine who submitted in august to re-submit any documents, and he is still waiting for MR which i am sure he will get soon. so i guess it all boils down to the visa officer processing your application. i will keep you guys posted when i have any new updates. take care.

Woo-hoo,     @    dan..that is great news. I am so happy for you. congratulations mate.

@    kumoj, it all depends on the category under which you were nominated and documents you submitted earlier. so they might ask you to resubmit the documents and i guess they do it just to check for consistency. i was nominated as a self-employed business owner, so i was asked to resubmit my business registration documents, reference letters from colleagues, and receipts i got from purchasing goods. But i suppose if you are not self-employed, they might ask you to resubmit your employment letter and reference letter from your employer. But like i said earlier, i don't think it is a must that they will ask you to resubmit documents. it all depends on the visa officer processing your application.

@    spicey, i am not an expert on the matter o..lol! but i in-boxed you my email in case you have questions, and i will answer only if i know the right answers as soon as i can.

Congrats again     @    dan.. good night.
