i am on valid workpermit and it it ends in sept 2012....!!

i had some bad experience with my employer and i quit the job with mutual understanding..........!!

can i stay here in canada legally untill my work permit expires.....!!

is there ny problem for me to get PPR.....!!???

Thanks for asking this. I'm at my wits end with mine and I've been wondering the same thing. I think the only issue may be when you land, you may need an employment letter and paystubs. Maybe the best option is to search for another job so you can have an employment letter for landing. Oh and I'm pretty sure you're allowed to stay as long as your open work permit is valid :-).

The landing instructions are to bring a document with current status(e.g. work permit), COPR and passport. For CEC, you do not have to be employed when you apply, so an employment letter is not necessary at landing.

Yes, you can stay in Canada till your permit expires. It's still a good idea to find new a job to ensure that you are able to renew your work permit if your PR application is not complete by then.
