1) extra proof of funds (total 17.000 CAD for 3 people)
2) birth certificate of the kid
3) probably some of the forms need refilling (??) not sure at all
4) passport for the kid
5) photographs of the kid

Hi, congrats to have lovely soul in your family.

 Initially you will have to forward below documents to the VO.


1) updated IMM008, IMM5406 forms

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

2) passport and birth certificate copies for your new child

3) $150 processing fee

4) passport-sized photos of your new child


Later, the VO might ask for an updated POF. So be sure that you have enough funds.

Not all countries have the same size passport photos, so this is not valid for everyone

Below is the detail of documents or actions that you need to take in order to comply fully with CHC requirements for new born;

1. NEW BORN Birth certificates (hospital and ministry of health). No need of notarization. Only copies can serve the purpose.
2. Passport of new born (and visa page if residing outside homeland)
3. Five photographs as per specification,
4. Additional family information forms (update) and signed in original
5. Demand draft of CAD 150/- (in the name of RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA)
6. Information on height of new born at the time of sending forms.

Process immediately after the birth of child and inform CHC on earliest basis so they do not process your case with out this information otherwise it may take longer than normal due to delayed info
