i had applied for USA 8 years ago for H-4 visa as my dad was on H-1 visa.i was neither granted the visa nor rejected. i got my admission letter from my university. i just want to know that if i apply for student visa now will i be granted this time, and yes one more thing my father is still in US.

please help....

- did you mean applying student visa for Canada or USA?

The fact that you got rejected by US immigration will not have any impact on your Canadaian study permit application, but the factors that got you rejected previously, if still present, may have an impact on this one.
