Dear Sir/Madam

I am Irshad Ahmed Zardari from Pakistan my immigration file number is B04********, I have applied for immigration as skilled worker and  started processing my application on March 17, 2005. Then my application was transferred to the London England office on September 29, 2010. They have written as the London England office may contact you.

Could you please inform me how many time this process will take and also if possible please inform me current status of my application.

Thanks

you should not print your file number here ... u can contact CHC london by making a case specific enquiry at:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/london.asp
mention you file number name and date of birth they will then reply you after 15 to 20 working days about your application ...

but i think it may take 6 to 7 years for those applications to be processed as you are under old rules you can also check out the application time lines online..

I can understand, its really disappointing that your future plans depend on this big move and you cant do anything about it.. except waiting

Hi Zardari,

I think sonea is right. You should never share your file number on this forum because there is a possibility of misuse. Kindly check current processing time for London VO on CIC website. If your timeline has exceeded the normal processing time mentioned, you may make case specific inquiry to London VO as mentioned by sonea.

Best of Luck

Dear Sonea

I also checked from the website of cic average process time for old rules applications are 84 months. It means you are right you were written as 6 to 7 years for those applications to be processed  under old rules. My application starts processing on 01-03-2005, it means till to date 77 months have passed and i have to wait 8 months more.
