Your visa validity is tied to your medicals.  You should contact NDVO asap and ask if you can repeat your medicals now to give you a longer validity of visa.

What does NDVO stands for and is it possible to extend the Visa expiry date as our medical/visa expiry date is 20th may 11.

NDVO = New Delhi Visa Office.

If they issue you a new visa right now, they are bound by the expiry of your medicals.  Ideally they should tell you that your medicals are expiring and ask you for new ones but since you know it too, you might as well raise the issue instead of waiting until they do.  It could also happen that they oversee it and send you a visa with only a few days to land.  This has happened sometimes.

You can either wait for them to contact you or you can contact them, whichever you like.

Dear Leon

Plz suggest how to contact them as their reply by email is very slow i.e they took 15 working days for replying to any query and we don't have that much time to wait, secondaly we don't have facility to make phone call to CHC New Delhi.

I am sure they are busy and therefore they will be slow to respond but if you send them an email, you have at least brought it to their attention that your medicals are expiring in case they have overseen it.  There is nothing more you can do.

Go to the office!

Send them an email and put *URGENT* in the subject line. Explain your situation to them clearly as possible.

One other wild suggestion that may help in your situation is go to Canada and land ASAP. If you have reliable family members to look at your baby for 2-3 days while you fly to Canada just to land and immediately take the next flight back to India. Or you both can do it one at a time. First you fly to Canada, land and return to India while your wife looks at the baby. Then, your wife does the same while you look at the baby. It assures that you land and at the same time prevents a lengthy process. As long you have a fixed address in Canada for CIC to mail your PR cards and someone can courier your cards back to India. This is my only best bet as time is running short for you guys.

From his first message, it seems that he already submitted their passports along with the baby's which is the right procedure.  When your family composition changes, the PR visa you have in your hand becomes invalid.  Landing on that PR visa will be considered misrepresentation and may get his PR revoked and will bar him from sponsoring the child in the future.

When a family member needs to be added to your application and you already have the visa, you must send your own passport back and you will get a new PR visa along with your new family member.
