Boncuk can we exchange countries :0).
BTW where you from in Canada.
I love snow as well but when it last for almost 5 months you can't wait for the spring. Also you should ask Rasha if she skate on the canal it's so beautiful.
Last year we had so many snow storms and everytime I had to shovel my driveway since I didn't sign any contract. I relied on their prediction and it turned out to be the opposite. It was dreadful!!!!

Marelena and Boncuk enjoy the weather before you both come to Canada. The weather in Ottawa is not bad but I find still cold in the morning.
BTW it's long weekend :o)Victoria day.

I can concur that the Ottawa weather is turning out splendidly..Mornings are averaging 6-10 degrees Celsuis, but it has been quickly warming up to 18-20 during the day.

The canal is awesome in the winter. Inshallah Boncuk, you and the family will come and stay with us for a short visit during that time - and enjoy the weather [in our new home nudge nudge :D].

We live right by the river too, so it's so nice :-).

Congratulations Rasha on your new house.
BTW I live in the East side. My sister lives beside the canal which is so convenient to go and visit.
I love Ottawa. Every day I walk beside the canal. The view especially from the Parliament is amazing.

Thanks Marlena, I am still looking, but have two really good prospects :-) - and I plan to be in a new home before Ramadan - inshallah. I live in the West actually and work at the General. I have been eyeing a home RIGHT on the canal lol.

Are you enjoying any of the Tulip Festival Activities?

Actually I was walking there just about an hour ago. I have friends from Montreal who's coming over for the weekend and I'm thinking of taking them the Byward Market and the tulip festival.
BTW are you a doctor????
