I have filed my case as bookeeper in july 2008 & my occupation does not fall under 38 list . I am waiting for my acceptaion or rejection from last one & half year . I know that my case can be rejected but i want to go canada i think I have already wasted my one & half year time I know that my all detail regarding my profile of bookeeper has been feeded in cic .
I want to change my Job from bookeeper to any IT line which is on 38 list.
So can any senior member sugest me that which type of course or study in computer field should I do to reach my goal . Which type of course will remain on high demand .If I get rejection than I will wait for 2-3 year after my course in computer filed to get working experience
Plsssssssssssssssssssssssss suggest me
Thanks alot
Well... what u are aiming at, can be something farfetched.
The only IT line occupation in the 38 list is "0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers", for which you need at least one years' IT MANAGEMENT experience.
Also an IT instructor of a tertiary/vocational institute can qualify as "4131: College and Other Vocational Instructors", for which you will again need one years experience.
In your case, you may have to do the necessary courses, change your career to IT (naturally you will start at grassroots levels), gain sufficient experience to get promoted to one of the above occupations and stay there for one year. This may take several years and by that time, the 38 list would have changed.
One more option for you, is to look at "1111: Financial Auditors and Accountants" occupation. Again, you may need to get sufficient experience.
There are two more options, instead of going for FSW-1. Those are:
Provincial Nominee category
Arranged employment category
Why don't you do further research on the above two categories, because the likelihood of getting to Canada thru FSW-1 seems to be a bit low.
