I'm from Bangladesh. My husband applied for my spouse visa in July. And i got approval in October 3. Now i want to apply for a tourist visa because i want to celebrate my 1st marriage anniversary with him. I heard before file open in singapore its not possible to apply for a tourist visa. Is it true?

Can anyone tell me how many days it require to open a file in singapore?

You said you got approval, do you mean your husband has been approved to sponsor you??

Most visa offices will NOT issue a visitor/tourist visa for a spouse, even with a PR application in process or not.  You have to show strong ties back to your homeland, and if your spouse is in Canada, that is considered a stronger tie to Canada.  

You can apply whenever, but don't get your hopes up about getting one, or coming to Canada until you are granted PR.
