 Thanks mmadsen55 for your answer.Iwant to apply for my mother.As my sister from Canada have already applied for my parents(for permanent visa).Is that file number is UCI or not?My mom is applying first time visitor visa.What should i write on that box? pls help me.

If you parents have applied for a permanent visa, they most likely have received some sort of correspondance from the Canadian government which would have the UCI/CLINT ID

if you are still unsure, leave it blank, but make sure you put in all the information about the permanant visa application furhter down in the form where it ask about previous application.
