Vancouver is a very popular tourist town and there are lots of hotels.  I have checked the local papers and am not seeing a lot of adverts, but check the online job search engines and you will find more.  Many of them say they will not look at your application unless you are legally able to work in Canada, so it is impossible to "apply from your country" before you arrive.  I would think with a well written resume, experience, references, and a "can do" attitude you should be able to find a job to start in while you keep looking for the perfect fit.  Good Luck

Don't forget Calgary and Niagra too they are real tourist hotspots, Vancouver is quite an expensive to live according to my aunt who has two sons there, so bear that in mind too.

We are planning on visiting all 3 locations to see what sits right when we land, and what feels like the best area to bring up the family.
As we're the same NOC plz Share timeline!!

Hope that helps too

Hi Shubash, congratulations on being SO CLOSE to the finish/start line.  I can imagine it is an stressful time moving to a new country, but try not to get too anxious about it and miss all the good things, too.  I don't know what level of job you want to achieve in the hotel industry, but I am sure you will find something to start in not long after you get here, if you are well prepared.  Your POF is your cushion to get you through the first bit.  There certainly appear to be Front Desk and Night Manager jobs advertised around BC so if you don't find what you want in Vancouver there are MANY other towns and cities in the Province to go to.  Focus on what you have to do each day at home as you prepare, relax and you will be in a much more positive frame of mind to impress prospective employers when you get here.  It will all work out.
