We received your application for permanent residence on April 15, 2011.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 24, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 16, 2012.
 
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Actually i know that my application has been rejected but wanted to know that, that they will send the rejection letter by snail mail or by e-mail.
And one more question for seniors what do u after getting rejection. Pls suggest.

Sorry to hear this bad news, I think you should order CAIPS to see the rejection reason then consider what to do next.

Friend, it is really a sad news you waited so long but could not succeed. Wait to see what is the reason mentioned by the VO. You should get the papers by post. Hope you can rectify the discrepancy / ies and re-apply accordingly. Before knowing the reason (s)  for rejection, an answer will not be appropriate. Hope you can make it.

Sir wilson has put it properly.
Wait till you get some info from VO. It may be a ecase glitch also (hope)
Then you can look into or reapply. Do not loose heart.
