please someone suggest me what should i do now........

my application was started on march 17,2009  from my mother who is in canada for family class sponsorship...we have already send medical report as well as passport on 18th july but status is still "in process"where as i think till now we should have already got the visa, but i am still waiting so can someone tell me still how long i have to wait for my visa??please help me to update my status.......

It normally takes another month or two after submitting a passport to receive it back with the visa. But it's hard to say in your situation as you don't specify much about your case, I assume it's outland, probably your mother is sponsoring you as a dependent child (?), but you don't mention if yours is a special case due to security, economical, relationship-related or other issues.

Judging from what you said that your application was submitted in 2009, and you mention your mother, I'm guessing yours is not a routine application otherwise it wouldn't have taken this long....?

This is an application to sponsor a parent - consequently it's outland by default since there is no inland processing route for parents.

Parent sponsorship processing times are significantly longer than processing times for spousal applications (typically 5+ years). So what the OP is experiencing in terms of wait times is perfectly normal.

The OP never mentioned that he is the one sponsoring his mother, actually the poster said "from my mother who is in Canada....", so is that outland or inland? Parent or child?

Anyways, like i mentioned in my response to his post, he should wait another couple of months for his passport to be returned with a visa.

yes! i am in nepal actually our mother is sponsoring us as we are a depedent childrens....we applied our application for permanent residence long time back in 2009 march but till date we didn't got visa as we have also send our medical done report as well as passport in july18 to delhi immigration office..still i dont think that  this much time take to get visa...normally how long it take to get visa after sending medical and passport???
shall i should wait some more time?
