Hi,

I have applied for Canadian PR through a Toronto agent. As he told that he had applied in around 10th Dec, 2010. I have applied in 1122 - Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management category.

I have completed two master degrees (MISM & MBA) from USA and I have more than 3 years of total experience. My total PR points are more than 67.

My agent told that he didn't receive file number yet (after 5 months). and also told that its not predicted when file no will come and total PR time may take more that 20 - 24 months.

I am too worried. Please tell me, how can I find my status directly? As my application came under new rule, how many time it takes in actual? As I have heard that some received PR number and visa within 6 - 8 months as well.

Thank you for your cooperation. Please reply urgently

Hi Ajnabee,

Please provide your country of Residence....

Secondly it should not take 5 months for Post June applicants.

Your consultant is hiding the facts from you.

As far as I remember, NOC 1122 was full from Nov-10 month itself.

Now he will wait till July-11 and then again reapply for you.

Regards

Hi - the cap of 1000 applications for NOC 1122 was reached around 28th October 2010. Therefore if your application did not reach CIO until December there is no chance that it would be accepted.

The entire application package should have been sent back to your agent. You may be able to send CIO a query via their website but I am fairly sure they will just confirm that the application was rejected.

However, if you can get the application back in time, the good news is there is only just over 2 months until the new "season" on 1st July 2011, and if NOC 1122 is still on the in-demand list at that time you can re-apply.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Hi Coolguy,

Thank you for reply,

I have job offer letter so I think 1000 cap doesn't affect to my case.

Country of residence is India --- Indian Citizenship

Is there any other way to find out file number or contact to VO directly?

Ah ok my apologies. If you have an offer of employment (either AOE, or TWP with LMO) then you are exempt from the 1000 cap.
